We know what works.
Our Story
We figured it out the hard way
Louie and Shaun went through the public school system without any guidance on how the HSC was supposed to work. Through trial and error, they learnt where to invest their time, what truly mattered for marks and how to do so while maintaining a balanced lifestyle for the HSC and their studies beyond.
In July of 2025, they co-founded Headway Tuition with a common goal: to give back to their community by providing the personalised mentorship, resources and tried-and-tested advice they wished they had.
What we set out to prove
Students don’t need twice the amount of schooling to succeed in the HSC. They need:
- Face to face time with a recent graduate who has just sat and excelled in the same course.
- Help where and when it’s needed, to match the shifting pace of high school.
- Clarity and mentorship that build a healthy mindset towards the HSC.
You don’t need elite private schooling or expensive coaching classes to excel in the HSC.
What we hold ourselves to
Our team is an exclusive network of recent, high achieving graduates who excelled in the HSC. That means first hand experience of the current course, clear communication, and the strategies they used themselves.
Top tier expertise
An average tutor ATAR of 98.50, including NSW State Rank holders.
Relatable mentorship
Tailored to how you learn, rather than a fixed program delivered the same way to everyone.
Proven strategies
The study techniques these graduates used to succeed.
Exclusive resources
A library of high yield notes, exams and problem sets built from the ground up.
